Access and disruption
New locations often need small ceiling openings. Patching and paint are arranged with others.
Permits and inspection
New circuits, equipment changes and most wiring alterations normally need an electrical permit and inspection. In Washington, Labor & Industries issues electrical permits except in cities that run their own electrical program, so the permitting authority depends on the property address rather than the mailing city. True confirms the correct authority before work starts. Permit fees are additional to the estimate.
Helpful, safe photos
The room and ceiling, any existing fixture and the switch location. Note what is above the ceiling if known. Only photograph what is safely visible — never remove electrical covers.

Questions
Are wafer lights the same as can lights?
They serve a similar purpose, but slim wafer fixtures mount differently and suit ceilings with limited space. The right choice depends on ceiling access and lighting goals.
Do customers supply fixtures?
Either can work. Customer-supplied fixtures should be confirmed for fit and listing before installation.
